Gorgeous glassy atriums at St Thomas’ hospital

Hopkins Architects have designed gorgeous glassy atriums with new cladding and louvre systems which sit around the busy East Wing of St Thomas’ hospital in London.   Designing within the limited space available they gave the new area a sense of cool, calm and a clarity in an intense environment.  It was a challenge to shoot some aspects at ground level due to the small clear areas and distances around the build, but once up at the top it was fantastic.  The full project will be on Airey Spaces web as soon as second phase has been shot in the Autumn.
